So the electron configuration for phosphorus is 1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p3, That leaves it with 3 unpaired electrons. I've came to the conclusion it's paramagnetic, but research has me questioning it. I'm seeing everywhere that it's diamagnetic. Why?
