Answer: Depends on the shape...

Explanation/Calculation:
There are many different shapes in the world; too many to show. With the limitless number of shapes comes different lengths and widths according to each individual shape. For example, a rectangle could have the width of 3 in. and the length of 9 in. In this example, the length would be longer, but in a different example this can be reversed. A rectangle with the length of 3 in., but the width of 9 in.,'s width would be longer.
