Hello!

You put -2 in for b

/4(-2) - 4/ + 3(-2)

Multiply

/-8 - 4/ -6

Subtract

/-12/ - 6

Take the absolute value of -12

12 - 6 = 6

The answer is 6

Hope this helps!

Ok, so,
b = -2

plug in -2 for b

|4(-2) - 4| + 3(-2)

4(-2) = -8

|-8 - 4| = |-12|

3(-2) = -6

|-12| - 6

|x| is a absolute value of x, so that no matter what, it will be positive!

|-12| becomes 12

12 - 6 = 6

A. 6 is your answer
I really hope this helps!
