What will be the dimensions of the new matrix formed by multiplying a 3 x 4 matrix and a 4 x 1 matrix?

The 2 middle values (4 and 4) must be identical in order to multiply their matrices.  The size of the resulting matrix is the outer values.
[3 x 4] x [4 x 1] = [3 x 1]
