Divide $18.50 by $1.25 to see how many gallons of gas Tyler bought.
18.5/1.25 = 14.8 gal

Add the 14.8 gal of gas that Tyler bought to the gas he already has, 6 gal.
14.8 + 6 = 20.8 gal

Multiply 20.8 gal by 23 miles to see how many miles Tyler can travel.
(20.8)(23) = 478.4 miles

Tyler can travel 478.4 miles.
