I believe the answer is: Self control to achieve societal goals
Compared to other ethnicities, Asian family tend to teach their children with a strict discipline of self control since early age. This self control could be correlated to the fact that on average Asian Students on average tend to had higher grades in high school and had the highest average income compared to other ethnicies in united states.
