Nicole's age can be x. So, that makes Teresa's age x + 6.

In 4 years, Nicole's age will be x + 4 and Teresa's age x + 6 + 4 or x + 10.

We can add these two to find the sum (66).

x + 4 + x + 10 = 66

2x + 14 = 66

2x = 66 - 14 = 52

2x/2 = 52/2

x = 26

Thus, Nicole's age is 26 making Teresa's age 26 + 6 or 32.
