[tex] \frac{x}{2} + 22 = 6 \times x [/tex]
multiply everything by 2
[tex]x + 44 = 12 \times x \\ x - 12 \times x = - 44 \\ - 11 \times x = - 44 \\ x = \frac{ - 44}{ - 11} \\ x = 4[/tex]
