To dilate the figure ADL by the scale factor of 2

To the scale factor of 2, means that all the coordinates 2 times larger

So multiply the coordinates by the 2.

A (-1,-1) -> ( -1*2 , -1*2 ) -> (-2, -2)

D (0,2) -> ( 0*2 , 2*2 ) -> (0, 4)

L (3,1) -> ( 3*2 , 1*2 ) -> (6, 2)

∆ADL dilated by the scale factor of two =  A'(-2, -2), D'(0, 4), L'(6, 2)
