Multiply the ten by two to make both of the bottoms twenty. Then mutiply 2x - 4 by 2 to get 4x - 8 cancel out the bottoms then you have [tex]4x-8=2x[/tex] then subtract 2x from both sides and then add eight for both sides then you have 2x=8 then divide both sides by 2 and you have x=4
