slope = -5

given point is (-1/6,1)

Use point slope formula

y - y1 = m (x - x1)

m = -5  , x1 = -1/6  and y1 =1

Plug in all the values in the formula

[tex]y - (1) =-5(x - (\frac{-1}{6}))[/tex]

[tex]y-1 = -5x - (\frac{5}{6}) [/tex]

Add 1 on boths ides

[tex]y=-5x + \frac{1}{6}[/tex]

y intercept is the constant value

Here y intercept is 1/6
