Q' = (7, 2 ) and R' = (1, - 5 )

given P(- 4, 4 ) and P'(3, 1 ), then the translation vector is

v = < 3, 1 > - < - 4, 4 > = < 7, - 3 >

Thus to obtain the coordinates of the images, add 7 to the x-coordinate and subtract 3 from the y-coordinate

Q(0, 5 ) → Q'(0 + 7, 5 - 3 ) → Q'(7, 2 )

R(- 6, - 2 ) → R'(- 6 + 7, - 2 - 3 ) → R'(1, - 5 )
