700*6=4,200

*4,200 as an estimate.

6*(758)

=6(700+50+8)

=4,200+300+48

=4,200+348

=4,548

The 760 came from the 8. The 8 had round up the 5 to a 6. The 10 came from were because the 6 was higher than 5, it rounds up to 10.

Product: If you mean the estimating number, then 760 × 10 = 7,600 or if you mean the original number, then 758 × 6 = 4,548.
