in order to minus fractions, you may decrease the numerator or increase the denominator or both.

Hi there! Let's say I had to subtract 6/10 from 5/10. We would subtract 6 from 5 which is 1 and we leave the denominator the same which is 10. Therefore, we have a fraction of 1/10.
