As the P(1)  is not zero so 1 will not be zero of the polynomial

We have given polynomial [tex]x^4+3x^3-28x^2-36x+144[/tex]

We have to find that is 1 is zero of the polynomial

If 1 will be zero of polynomial then [tex]p(1)[/tex] will be zero  

As [tex]P(1)=(3)^4+3\times (1)^3-28\times (1)^2-36\times 1+144=1+3-28-36+144=84[/tex]

As the P(1)  is not zero so 1 will not be zero of the polynomial
