IF we draw a diagram, it is in  the shape of a right angled triangle

Where, the distance from home to 2nd base is the hypotenuse

With legs =  65 ft

Applying Pythagoras theorem,

[tex]\mathrm{H}^{2}=\mathrm{B}^{2}+\mathrm{P}^{2}[/tex]

[tex]H^2[/tex] = (65*65) + (65*65)

[tex]H^2[/tex]  = 8540

H = 92.412 FEET

Therefore, the distance between home to second base is 92.412 feet
