(y² - 3)(y⁴ - 6y² + 9)

y²(y⁴ - 6y² + 9) - 3(y⁴ - 6y² + 9)

y².y⁴ - y².6y² + y².9 -3.y⁴ - 3.(-6y²) -3.( 9)

y⁶ - 6y⁴ + 9y² - 3y⁴ + 18y² -27

y⁶ - 6y⁴- 3y⁴ + 9y² + 18y² - 27

y⁶ - 9y⁴ + 27y² - 27

I hope this helps.
