Answer:

In this problem it gives you the equation you need to solve it.  

Y=10x+190

The question asks for the number of calories if the snack has 35 grams of fat.  The grams of fat is the independent variable so it is going to be x.  So just substitute the x in the equation with 35.

Y=10×35+190

Y=350+190

Y= 540

So for a snack that has 35 grams of fat, it would have 540 calories.
