ZD and ZE are complementary. If m2D = 5x + 3 and mZE = 3x - 1, what is the measure of ZD?

ZD = -7

Because ZD = ZE
So...
5x + 3 = 3x-1
x = -2
So
5(-2) + 3...
Answer is -7
