Each day, a bakery makes 50 loaves of
wheat bread. If that amount is 20%
of all the bread that they bake, how
many loaves do they bake each day?

If 20% is 50 loaves, we would first write it like this: 20/100 = 50/x. We would then use the butterfly method to get 20x = 5,000. To isolate the variable, we would divide both sides by 20. This gets our answer of 250 loaves a day.

50*100=5,000
20*x=20x
5,000/20=250
