diameter of semicircle is 6 so radius is 6/2=3

so perimeter of the circle would be

p=2πr

p=2π*3=6π=18.8

But we have a semicircle so perimeter will be

P=p/2=18.8/2=9.4

The perimeter of the figure now would be

Perimeter=9+8+8+9.4=25+9.4=34 approximately.

Perimeter of semicircle = 15.42
Perimeter of trapezoid = 25 (not using the 6)
Add those two numbers, 25+15.42=40.42
Rounded to the nearest tenth would be 40.4
