Answer:

Energy requirements of body are fulfilled with the foods which take less time to be digested like carbohydrates and proteins as compared to lipids. Therefore our food should contain less amount of lipids

Because the digestion of lipids is time consuming process therefore food is stored in the form of lipids in the body for future use. That's is why levels of lipids in our diets are lower than the amount of lipids found in the human body composition.
