4(1/2) = 2

2-8 = -6

For finding g(1/2) you need to substitute the value of x= 1/2

Thus , g(1/2):

[tex] = 4 \times \dfrac{1}{2} - 8[/tex]

[tex] = 2 - 8[/tex]
