Explanation:

After Ghana obtain its independence, it created a power vacuum within the country. Several groups started to appear and try to take the highest position in the government.

The groups constantly engaged in conflict with one another and the efforts that they need to take to actually improve the development in Ghana were being neglected. This condition continue Until Ghana transitioned to multi-party democracy in 1992 and limited each party to a maximum of 8 years in power (2 terms x 4 years)
