Mari can walk 2.5 miles in 45 minutes. At this rate, how far can she walk in two and a half hours?

Speed = distance/time
Time = 45 min = 45/60 hours = 0.75 hours
Speed = 2.5/0.75 hours = 3.33 miles per hour or 3 1/3 miles per hour

Distance = speed * time

Distance = 3.33* 2.5 = 8.33 miles or 8 1/3 miles
