Explain how the Battle of Saratoga was a turning point in the American Revolutionary War.

The Battle of Saratoga was a major turning point for both countries mostly because this battle was fought for the freedom of the American colonies and for France to become allies with America. During the war many other nations supported the Americans with food, money and most importantly with a powerful Navy.
