Let the two consecutive even numbers be x and x+2
According to the question,
x+x+2=22
or,2x+2=22
or,2x=22-2
or,2x=20
or,x=20/2
therefore x=10
now x+2 = 10 + 2 = 12
Therefore the numbers are 10 and 12
