1) The given equation 2/3(cx+1/2)-1/4=5/2

[tex]\frac{2}{3}(cx\text{ +}\frac{1}{2})-\frac{1}{4}=\frac{5}{2}[/tex]

To solve for x in terms of c, we have to isolate x on the left side and all the terms of c and the other ones on the right side

2) Distributing:

[tex]\frac{2}{3}cx+\frac{2}{6}-\frac{1}{4}=\frac{5}{2}[/tex]

Combining like terms
