Length of the ladder is 16ft

Angle of elevation is 47 degree

To calculate the distance between the wall and the foot of the ladder

Cos thete = BC/AC

Cos 47 deg = BC / 16

16*0.6819 = BC

BC = 10.911 ft

Therefore , the distance between the wall and the foot of the ladder is 10.991ft
