I'm not very good with square roots. Can someone please explain it to me and help me understand how to do them?

A square root is Is a number times it's self. Like 2 is the square root of 4, because 2*2=4. 3 is the square root of 9, because 3*3=9....... And 7 is the square root of 49, because 7*7=49.
