There are several ways in which the author of "Was it a dream" communicates his feelings about love relationships, but the best way is that he relates to personal experience.This song is about being with someone and knowing that things are completely over. like he doesn't want her anymore...but he's wondering if being with her was a dream you know proving that there really was a connection there...but he doesn't want her anymore.
