Add 6 from Both Sides of the Equations then Multiply it by 4 to find X.

Multiply −5  by 4  to get −20 -Move all terms not containing x  to the right side of the equation. Since −2  does not contain the variable to solve for, move it to the right side of the equation by adding 2 2 to both sides. Subtract 20 from 2  to get −18
