What is combustion and how does it affect the carbon cycle

Combustion is the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas, oil, etc. It affects the carbon cycle because it adds much more carbon to the air. That then causes phenomenon's like global warming. Therefore, it is bad for our environment and ozone layer.
