Area of a circle = pi*r^2, where r is the radius.

r = diameter/2
= 3.102/2
= 1.551

A = pi*1.551^2
= 7.557 cm^2

diameter= 3.102
radius=diameter/2=3.102/2=1.551
A=3.14 (1.551)^2=7.554cm^2
