There is a slope formula for this.
slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

example : lets say u r given 2 sets of points....(1,2) and (3,4). First, we must label out points
set 1:  (1,2)....so lets label these : x1 = 1 and y1 = 2
set 2 : (3,4)...and we label these x2 = 3 and y2 = 4

now we sub these into our formula and solve
slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
slope = (4 - 2) / (3 - 1) = 2/2 = 1
so the slope of these 2 sets of points is 1.

one important thing to remember, ur points may not always be positive...so pay close attention to ur signs
