The frontal lobe of the cerebrum is responsible for planning and initiating voluntary motor movement. The name frontal comes from the position of this lobe- it is located just beneath the frontal bone. The frontal lobe is also responsible for other cognitive functioning (i.e. perception, learning, remembering, judging & problem solving).
