First write (f o f)(x).  This calls for us to use f(x) = 3x-2 as the input to f(x).

f(x) = 3x - 2       =>   f(   )  = 3(    ) - 2         Now subst. f(x) inside both sets of parentheses:

f(f(x)) (f o g)(x) = 3(3x-2) -2 = 9x - 6 - 2 = 9x - 8 (answer)
