I believe the correct answer is farce.
Farce refers to the use of humor in exaggerated situations in order to show a certain message to the audience. When Faustus meets the Pope, he is using the rival Saxon Pope as a stepstool, having made him to get down on all fours. There's no personification, allegory, or parody there.
