Potassium hydroxide commonly known as caustic potash is an inorganic compound with a chemical formula KOH which is a strong base that is marketed in several forms. 

H2SO4(aq) + 2KOH(aq) ---> K2SO4(aq) + 2H2O(l) H°= –111.6 kJ/mol
