Bionomial nomenclature is the system of naming organisms according to carl linnaeus.

Naming each species in two parts, the first is the genus and second is specific epithet.

Genus is written as initial capital letter, specific epithet is distinguishes the species and written as small letters.

Example: Homo sapiens.
