How do u solve n-5 over 2=5

(n-5)/2=5 (Multiply terms on both sides of the equation by 2)

n-5=10 (Add 5 to both sides of equation)

n=10+5

n=15

There are a few different ways to go about it.
I would do it like this:

(n - 5)/2 = 5

Multiply each side of the equation by 2 :    n - 5 = 10

Add 5 to each side of the equation:           n      = 15
